I have always liked making stuff so I started with an original wallet design in 2009 that I called "SoCal". I listed and sold it on Etsy and Mauk (the business) was born - escalating into an ever changing selection of hand sewn and screen printed items that I sold at shows, online and in consignment shops.
Now days I find it's more enjoyable to make one or two of something for a friend or family member rather than 20-50 items at a time. :)
